Next on the agenda were upcoming events:

-                     Ren Fest through July 31^st We will be going to Ren Faire Again July 16th

-                     There will be no camping on the 4^th. 

-                     Bill and Sue move on the 9^th and 10^th if anyone can help.   Schedule of move is on the group website

-                     Abe brought up Amtgard events: 

o       RAKIS camping June 29^th – July 3^rd

§         Will be running live action role playing games

§         $20 entry fee includes camping and 3 feasts

§         Under 14 is $10

o       Glitterbeards has been moved back to the 19-21st of August.

§         Located in Pawnee National Grassland. You take I-25 to Mulberry in Ft Collins and go east about 45-50 miles.

-                     August 13 (Saturday) House VamPyr outing to Botanical Gardens

-                     IMPORTANT!!!!   Next meeting will be at the Marriott Denver Tech Center (Where Starfest is).  This may become the new location for meetings.   We will meet in the bar!!!!

-                     October 8^th – John’s Halloween Party!!!!!!!!

-                     October 21-23 – Mile Hi Con

o       We will probably do food for the con suite again!! And we need help with it this year.

-                     November 6^th is tentative date for club outing to the Zoo.  Let’s go see our mascot!!

-                     December 17^th – Club meeting at the Art Museum – free admission.

-                     Parade of Lights (date to be announced) – let’s all go as a club.  It was very fun last year. John, Jennifer and Richard went and afterwards had dinner and drinks!!

-                     January (date to be announced) – Club outing to Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

-                     Dues are due by end of January - $25.

Other news

-                     John is making decals for our cars of the club symbol.  He has posted info

on the group site if anyone is interested.  They look really cool!!!  They

are the cling type of decal.

-                     Starfest

o       We will be doing a possible murder mystery for the game this year.  If anyone has any ideas please bring to next meeting.  We need to start putting this together now.  Time flies really fast. This could be a really fun event!!!!

o       John will again be doing the Prop panel on Friday night if anyone is interested in helping, let John know.

-                     Peter Pound (D’nuop), our new member to the club, sells knives and swords at discounted prices.  His website is www.thepoundry.com

-                     Sue VanCleave is trying to put together a yahoo group site entitled “Scifi-Fantasy Embassy of Colorado.”  This will be a site where any group can post their events.  As the site gets closer to launching, she will post info on our yahoo site.
